Portions & timing
Move a meal to another day
Sometimes the meal is right but the timing is not. You can move a meal without swapping it for something new.
Cook it another day
On the meal, tap Something else, then Eat later. Bolus takes it out of tonight and keeps the ingredients so you can cook it on a different day. The rest of the week reshuffles around it if needed. This is the tidiest way to say “not tonight, but I still want this.”
Change the time of a meal
If you are eating a meal earlier or later than usual on a given day, open it and edit its time. Bolus lets you nudge the time forward or back. This mostly matters if you have a CGM connected, since it helps line up your meals with your glucose timeline on the Insights tab.
Default times for every week
To change when you usually eat, rather than a one-off, set your default breakfast, lunch, and dinner times in Settings. Like other planning changes, new default times apply to weeks created afterwards. See cooking effort and meal times.
