Your subscription

Your free trial

Bolus begins with a 7-day free trial, so you can plan a week, shop, and eat through it before paying anything. You get the full app during the trial, with nothing held back.

While the trial is running

Your trial lasts 7 days. You are not charged while it runs, and you do not need to do anything to keep using the app during it. You can confirm the exact end date in your Apple settings, as described below.

When the trial ends

Unless you cancel first, the trial rolls into a paid subscription automatically after the 7 days, and Apple charges you £49 for the first three months then. This is how App Store free trials work: the trial and the subscription are set up together, so it continues seamlessly if you do nothing.

If you would rather not carry on, cancel before the trial ends and you will not be charged. Cancelling still lets you use Bolus for the rest of the trial. See cancel your subscription.

Checking where your trial is up to

To see when your trial ends or turns into a subscription, open Settings on your iPhone, tap your name, then Subscriptions, and choose Bolus. The renewal date shown there is when the first charge would happen.

One trial per person

A free trial is available once. If you have used a Bolus trial before, starting again will usually go straight to a subscription rather than offering another free trial. This is managed by Apple against your Apple account.

For what happens after the trial, see what you pay and when.
