Payment & cancellation
Cancel your subscription
You can cancel your Bolus subscription at any time. Because payment goes through Apple, you cancel it in your Apple settings rather than inside the Bolus app.
How to cancel
- Open Settings on your iPhone.
- Tap your name at the top.
- Tap Subscriptions.
- Choose Bolus.
- Tap Cancel Subscription and confirm.
If you do not see Cancel Subscription, it is usually already cancelled and will not renew.
You can also get there from the App Store: tap your profile picture, then your name, then Subscriptions.
What happens after you cancel
- You keep access until the end of the period you have paid for. Cancelling stops the next renewal; it does not cut you off straight away or refund the current period.
- It will not renew again. No further charges are taken once it is cancelled.
- Your plans stay put in the meantime. Nothing is deleted by cancelling; you simply stop at the end of the current period.
Cancelling during a free trial
If you are still in your free trial, cancel before it ends to avoid being charged. You keep the app for the rest of the trial. See your free trial.
Timing
To be sure you are not charged for the next period, cancel at least a day before the renewal date, since Apple can process renewals in the final 24 hours. You can check the renewal date under Subscriptions.
Deleting your account is separate
Cancelling stops payment but leaves your account in place. If you want your data removed as well, that is a separate step. See delete your account.
If you have cancelled but are still seeing a charge, see refunds and billing issues.
