Changing your week
Your week is meant to bend around real life. There are a few different ways to change it, and they do different jobs.
The main tools
- Swap replaces a meal with a different one you would rather cook. Use it when you do not fancy what is planned. See swap a meal.
- Something else handles a night that is not happening as planned, whether you are eating out, skipping, or cooking it another day. See something else: skip, eat out, or eat later.
- Portion and household settings change how much food each meal makes. See change portion and household size.
A useful rule of thumb
If you want a different meal, swap it. If you want the same meal at a different time, or you are not cooking it at all tonight, use Something else. Bolus keeps your shopping list and the rest of the week in step either way.
Nothing is wasted
When you skip or move a meal, Bolus saves the ingredients and rearranges the days around it where it can. If you change your mind, you can undo it. See undo a change.
