Change pack sizes and quantities
Bolus works out how much of each ingredient your week needs and suggests sensible pack sizes to cover it. If you buy differently, you can change them.
How quantities are worked out
For each item, Bolus adds up what your meals need and picks pack sizes to match, shown as things like 500g, 2 × 500g, or 1 pack (6). It aims for the fewest packs while making sure you have enough, and will round up to a larger pack rather than leave you short.
These are generic UK pack sizes. Bolus does not tie the list to a specific supermarket or specific products, so you are free to buy whichever brand or shop you like.
Adjusting a pack
Tap the pack or quantity on an item to change it. You might pick a bigger pack because it is better value, or a smaller one to cut waste. The item updates to reflect what you have chosen.
Coverage labels
Each item tells you how it sits against what your week needs, with notes like all of it, have already, or how much you would still be short. Store-cupboard basics show as check you have rather than something to buy every week, so you are not rebuying oil and spices you already own.
