Delete your account

You can delete your account from inside the app, at any time. This removes your data, and it cannot be undone.

How to delete

  1. Go to Settings.
  2. Scroll to the bottom and tap Delete account.
  3. Confirm.

What happens

Deletion is immediate and permanent. There is no grace period and no way to recover the account afterwards. It erases your profile, your plans, your shopping lists, your meal history, and any connected glucose data Bolus holds. Your Sign in with Apple link to Bolus is also removed.

This cannot be undone. If you only want to step away for a while, log out instead, which keeps everything in place. See log out.

What is kept, and why

For legal reasons, Bolus keeps a small record that you accepted the terms, being your email, the version you agreed to, and when. This is held for a limited period and then removed automatically. Everything else about you is gone at deletion.
